WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game is an excellent conversion of the popular Bally Midway arcade game of the same name. In contrast to some earlier duds such as Judge Dredd, Acclaim got itself together this time around to deliver an excellent conversion that rivals non-PC versions (e.g. SEGA Genesis and PSX) in delivering a no-holds-barred wrestling action for the PC. Wrestling games are not that plenty. But, the fans are not ready to give up. At any cost, they will find a wrestling game and play it until they are satisfied by beating their opponent wrestler. For such hard-core wrestling fans, we incorporated a list of the top wrestling games. If you own a PC and would like to play a wrestling game on it, you should probably want to have a look at this list of the best wrestling games for PC.
1. WWE 2K18
WWE 2K18 is the already available wrestling game on the market which might be the best wrestling game ever created. Needless to say that it is based on the WWE where your favorite superstars such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, etc. fight in the ring. At least when it comes to the graphics and the gameplay. I know that many would disagree with me. The games like Wrestlefest released in 1991 was very fun to play. But comparing the gameplay and graphics of such games with the WWE 2K18 is unthinkable. With good controls over the players which significantly improved the gameplay from the recent 2K releases, WWE 2K18 will be a blast.
WWE 2K series can be considered as a whole franchise. Every new game might improve over time as they release newer versions. So, you may choose the best one based on your taste.
Expected to be released this October, the game will definitely shake the previous wrestling game records. The best thing that I considered for listing this WWE game as the best is its amazing graphics. If you don’t believe my words, have a look at this WWE 2K18 gameplay yourself and find the irony.
2. WWE 2K17
WWE 2K17 is an officially available wrestling game, at least until the release of the 2K18 in the series. The beautiful gameplay and well-described character design made this wrestling game one of the best in the business. If you are a wrestling game fan and owns a good PC, you probably have played this game. The game is published by the 2K sports, who has been doing it for the last few years. The WWE 2K17 is a great combination of brilliant graphics and enjoyable gameplay. Even the entry videos of the characters will show you that.
This game serves a great ring action with superior controls. It was never easier to control and fight the wrestlers. The difficulty to take down the opponent has increased considerably which might be a problem for beginners. However, once you get into it, it is nothing difficult to beat your opponent.
3. WWE 2K16
The third 2K game in this list in a row, WWE 2K16 deserves to be here. For the fans of RKOs and the F-5s, the 2K16 is a great game. John Cena, The Undertaker, Randy Orton all look amazing in the game with their finishing moves. When it comes to the graphics, there is no one to beat the 2K series of wrestling games. I think, more game developers should enter the wrestling game industry to contend 2K. The World Wrestling Entertainment games should be taken to the next level.
WWE 2K16 is also having good gameplay with special moves, great finishers, and real-life like controls. If you didn’t like the latest versions in this series, you should probably go for the 2K16.
4. WWE RAW 2002
![Wwe game for pc Wwe game for pc](/uploads/1/1/2/1/112146877/136834177.jpg)
Released far back in 2002, the WWE RAW is one of the evergreen wrestling games out there. If you wrestle using this classic, you will fall in love with it. Even if the graphics, can’t reach near the 2K wrestling games, the RAW still can make a great competition with its addictive gameplay and nice features. The moves look a bit artificial. However, it is still enjoyable. While moving the players, there is no artificial intelligence to make it look natural. So, it will be a little weird to play the game. But as I said, it is still enjoyable.
If you are a lover of the classic RAW wrestling matches, you will love this WWE game published in 2002. The game has no amazing visuals to offer, but all it has is the addictive gameplay with a bunch of our favorite wrestlers including The Rock, John Cena, Big Show, etc.
5. Wrestlefest – 1991
Originally published for the Arcade consoles, the Wrestlefest – 1991 is also available for PCs. This is an old wrestle game that most of us didn’t get a chance to play. The all-time-stars like Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior are there in this game. So, if you can’t find your favorite classic WWE superstar in those modern WWE games, the Wreslefest is the right place to search them. There is no need to tell that the graphics of this game isn’t that great. However, for a kid in the 1990s who loves WWE, this game is more than enough.
6. WWE Raw 2
WWE RAW 2 is a similar game to the WWE RAW released in 2002. The game interface and controls are very similar to the successor. The game was released by the Anchor Inc. originally for the Xbox consoles. However, the game is then repacked for the PCs which is currently available on several websites to download. Like any other classic WWE game on this list, this one also doesn’t have great graphics and amazing visuals. However, it could provide nice gameplay with smooth controls. The player movement looks artificial in this version as well, which is not a big problem.
7. Total Extreme Wrestling 2004
Different from other games in this list, the Total Extreme Wrestling 2004 is a text-based WWE simulation game. In simple words, you could be the Vince McMahon of the WWE. You can control the look of the players, manage staff, customize names, and do much more on this text-based WWE game. You can run wrestling shows in different countries all over the globe like US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Japan, and Australia. You will get earnings for each view or audience you get. Even if it is not super-fun to play this game, it is still enjoyable for the hardcore WWE fans.
8. Wrestling Spirit
Wrestling Spirit allows you to take control of a wrestler and build a successful career in wrestling. Just like the TEW games, the Wrestling Spirit is also not based on real action. You can control the player using the interface provided as well as compete with others on the game. Every aspect of the wrestler’s career will be under your control. In other words, you will be the wrestler in the game, and you can do whatever is possible in the game. There are different versions of the game on the market all are better than the other. So, you can choose any one of them as per your requirements. My personal selection is the Wrestling Spirit 3.
9. WWE 2K15
The fourth 2K game in this list which is absolutely a blast. Like any other wrestling game developed by the 2K, this one is also a good example of how good the wrestling games can be. Superior graphics, good controls, and nice gameplay make it one of the best in this list. Beyond the excellent graphics and amazing characters, WWE 2K15 provides engaging gameplay throughout the game. Here is a sample gameplay of WWE 2K15 to let you know how good it is.
10. WCW Nitro
WCW is a wrestling game based on the show WCW Monday Nitro TV show. So, if you were a fan of the WCW Nitro, you should play this game. You can grapple your opponent and try to win the matches like in any other game on this wrestling games list. The gameplay is good, and there are plenty of your favorite wrestlers to choose from. If you are into wrestling games, you should try the WCW Nitro at least once. Even though it is an old game, it still has a lot of special moves that will excite any wrestling fan out there. So, don’t hesitate to try the WCW Nitro in your PC.
11. WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007
Yet another WWE game for PC, the WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 will give you goosebumps when playing. The brilliant gameplay, good controls, and thrilling intros all add to the excitement of the game. It is based on the WWE Smackdown and the WWE RAW versions. All the superstar who wrestles in those series will be available in this game as well. The player movements and controls improved significantly when compared to the previous WWE games and look more real. WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 is a must-play wrestling game. You should play it at least once.
12. Fire Pro Wrestling World
Fire Pro Wrestling World is a unique wrestling game whose gameplay looks nice, but the controls are a little different from others. You will feel like playing an arcade game where the movements are not that smooth. You will also feel like the game repeats the movements again and again. However, it included a considerable number of player skills which might be exciting for the kids who love wrestling. In my opinion, this game is more suitable for young wrestling fans more than adults. So, if your kid loves wrestling and wants to try out some games, the Fire Pro Wrestling World is a good game to install on your computer.
13. WWF In Your House
WWF In Your House is one of the oldest wrestling games for PC. The game looks good and the gameplay is not that bad. However, the movements and especially the player fall look more unreal. After receiving a kick from the opponent, the player flies to the sky and fall back to the ring. It is a little unacceptable. Apart from that, there are no big problems in playing this classic wrestling. You can’t expect great graphics in a 90s video game. So, no need to mention, the graphics is a little lower here.
14. Pro Wrestling X
If you are more of a graphics guy and detail in the gameplay, the Pro Wrestling X is a good game to start with. After the 2K games, the Pro Wrestling X is one of the top wrestling games with good graphics. The player movements also seem to be nice and look real. But I felt that the players miss a lot of hits and kicks even for the nearest targets. Many of our users also reported this. So, respecting the work of the creators, you may give it a try. Maybe you like it with its uniqueness or maybe you not. Anyway, try it.
15. WWF Raw
![Game Game](/uploads/1/1/2/1/112146877/193187436.jpg)
WWF Raw is a WWE PC game based on the WWF RAW TV show. The game is entirely based on the WWF RAW with the exact crew back in the release date of the game. With iconic wrestler intros, nice gameplay, and ultimately smooth controls, WWF RAW is enjoyable in every aspect. It is very similar to the WWE RAW and Smackdown games with very small changes in the gameplay. When it comes to the graphics, the developers were able to implement almost real-looking faces and bodies. WWF Raw is a considerable game to have some wrestling fun.
16. SLAMMED!
Wwf Games Download
SLAMMED! is a different wrestling game which is also a text-based simulation. The game simply turns a scripted steel-cage wrestling match into a real fight with more than 250,000-word interactive novel! In the game, you will be able to be a powerhouse, a technician, a high-flier, or even focus on your promo skills. You can even develop your own wrestling skills in the game. I know, most of the gamers will not be interested in such games, but still, it is a wrestling game to have a look. If you are bored of playing the casual wrestling, the SLAMMED! is the best game to find a difference.
17. Wrestling Revolution 3D
Wrestling Revolution 3D was primarily developed for mobile phones but also available for desktops. The game is very basic with basic controls and unnatural looking movements. If you do not like any of the above-listed wrestling games, the Wrestling Revolution 3D is also a good choice to go with. The game has simple controls that may force the players to use the same kind of movements over and over again. So, only go for it if you didn’t have much resources to play the high-graphic wrestling games listed above.
18. WWE 2K20
Wwe Game For Pc Free Download
Needless to say, the latest installment in the wrestling game category is a blast both in terms of the gameplay and graphics. Everyone may not like the way the players move and act. It’s always been a problem with WWE games. However, we can see a huge improvement in almost all the aspects of the game compared to the previous games in the 2K series. The players look more realistic and the intro scenes are much better. The overall gameplay also seems to be improved a lot as the players are much easier to control now. They behave much better in WWE 2K20.
